Dany Heatley agreed to a 6 year, 45 million dollar contract before last night's game, then went out and scored the game-tying goal and the game-winning goal in overtime for the Senators against the Maple Leafs. Wow.
I found the game very enjoyable, with momentum changes at several points. The Leafs played better than I expected, and the Sens displayed their usual turn it on turn it off Jekyll and Hyde approach (which, obviously, was off during the finals last spring).
I was thrilled to see Nick Foligno get a bit of power-play time, yet did not notice him much during the game...

J'ai bien aimé le match, car l'intensité y était et le momentum a changé à plusieurs reprises. Les Leafs ont bien joué, et les Sénateurs ont démontré à nouveau leur approche allumés/éteints du style Jekyll et Hyde (le même qui, bien évidemment, était éteint lors des finales ce printemps).
J'étais heureux de voir Nick Foligno sur le jeu de puissance, mais honnêtement, je l'ai à peine remarqué durant le match.
