A perfectly played road game, even though it was their third game in four nights. Kolzig stood tall, and the Caps outsmarted the Sens in their own building, with an opportunistic second period. Victor Kozlov scored and assisted on two others, Nicklas Backstrom (see photo) scored his first ever NHL goal, and Ovechkin broke their backs with a nice goal in the third to make it 4 to 1.
Too bad I had to give away my ticket as I'm in Atlanta today...
///Un match à l'étranger parfaitement exécuté, même si c'était leur troisième en quatre soirs. Kolzig a très bien joué, et les Capitals ont mieux patiné que les Sénateurs, grâce à une deuxième période sous le signe de l'opportunisme. Victor Kozlov a marqué et obtenu des mentions d'aide sur deux autres (dont le premier but en carrière de Nicklas Backstrom - dont l'image est ci-dessus). Ovechkin leur a brisé les reins avec un but en troisième pour augmenter leur avance à 4 à 1.
C'est triste que j'ai dû donner mon billet car je suis à Atlanta aujourd'hui.
