It Sucks To Lose ///Perdre c'est pénible

We played very well last night, but Red played even better. We lost 4 to 1, and will now play in the consolation final against Black next Friday. Steph The Goalie had another good game, and everyone played his heart out, but they got the bounces and we didn't generate enough offence. We tried to skate with them and that was our downfall; a patient game would have been a better strategy. Desperation made us try to skate with them. It's true what they say, that the beer doesn't taste as good when you lose.

///On a très bien joué hier soir, mais les Rouges ont joué encore mieux que nous. On a perdu 4 à 1, et donc on jouera dans la finale de consolation vendredi prochain. Steph The Goalie a très bien joué encore une fois, et tout le monde s'est donné corps et âme, mais ils ont eu les rebonds chanceux et on n'a pas généré assez d'offensive. On a essayé de patiner avec eux et stratégiquement, ce n'était pas la bonne affaire, un jeu plus patient nous aurait bénéficié davantage. On était désespérés et c'est cela qui nous a amené à tenter de patiner avec eux. C'est vrai, ce qu'ils disent, que la bière n'est pas aussi bonne lorsqu'on perd le match.
