Junior Hockey with Bite ///67 raisons d'aimer le hockey junior

I went to the Ottawa 67's game last Friday against the Brampton Battalion. I wanted to see the nephew of one of my garage-league teammates play (Stephane Chabot, #8 for Brampton). He played a game with us last summer and was very impressive. He did pretty well, and his team beat Ottawa 5-2. I love the energy that Junior hockey players demonstrate. The atmosphere in the building was good (although not as exciting as the Gatineau Olympiques in the famed Robert Guertin Arena). Sadly, the loudspeaker next to our section was crackling all night, which was very unpleasant.

///J'ai assisté au match des 67 d'Ottawa contre le Battalion de Brampton vendredi dernier. Je voulais voir à l'oeuvre le neveu d'un de mes co-équipiers de ma ligue de garage du mercredi (Stéphane Chabot, # 8 pour Brampton). Il avait joué un match avec nous l'été dernier et m'avait impressionné. Il s'est très bien débrouillé, et son équipe l'a remporté 5 à 2. J'aime beaucoup l'énergie et l'enthousiasme que démontre les joueurs du junior. L'atmosphère au Centre civique était bonne (mais pas aussi excitante que celle des Olympiques de Gatineau dans le vénérable amphithéâtre Robert Guertin). Malheureusement, un haut-parleur près de notre section a griché toute la soirée; c'était très déplaisant.
