Elgin's Passion For Hockey Teaches All ///La passion du hockey d'Elgin rejoint toute sa communauté

As I wrote a few days ago, Elgin Fraser's amazing passion for hockey as a three year old touched the lives of many. Elgin passed away last Saturday night, shortly after the Senators beat the Sabres. Today, a memorial service was held in the Carleton Place arena, and over a thousand people were they to pay their respects to his short but remarkable life. His passion for the game was not overshadowed by his terminal illness, and he led by example in teaching us all that the glass is, indeed, always half full. Kudos to Mike Fisher and Chris Phillips for showing their dignity and strength as pallbearers.
