Flyers Flew ///Les Flyers volaient

I've been thrilled all year to see the Philadelphia Flyers sit at the bottom of the NHL standings (typical Capitals fan emotions). So I was looking forward to watching the Detroit Red Wings tear them apart last night. Lo and behold, the Cryers outplayed the Wings for two periods, and then ran away with the game with five unanswered goals in the third. It finished 6-1.

That's why they play the games. You never know what will happen.

///Je prends plaisir depuis le début de l'année à constater que les Flyers de Philadelphie sont au bas du classement général de la LNH (sentiment typique d'un amateur des Capitals). J'anticipais donc le plaisir de les voir démolis par les Red Wings de Détroit hier soir. Mais non, les "Cryers" ont très bien joué. Ils ont dominé les Red Wings en troisième avec cinq buts sans riposte et l'ont emporté 6 à 1.

Comme on dit, c'est pour cela qu'ils jouent les matches. On ne sait jamais ce qui arrivera.
